On display at the 2011 Nismo Festival was the R34 GT-R race car, the exact one I drove on the Sugo track several years ago. It brought back some good memories.

Bentley has served up a tantalizing listen of next year’sturbo V-8-powered Continental luxury coupe. This new entry-level model will slot beneath the existing twin-turbocharged W12-powered model. While it might have less power than its 567-hp big brother, the V-8 model will still pack plenty of power (we expect something in excess of 500-hp) and perhaps even sharper handling, thanks to the lighter engine under the hood. This 4.0-liter direct-injected V-8 is set to be shared with other Bentley models, as well as select Audi vehicles – the German automaker is Bentley’s parent company.
So turn up the volume and enjoy the ride in the 2013 Bentley Continental V-8!

To celebrate the launch of its new 170 bhp MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde, Alfa Romeo constructed its iconic serpent and cross logo using over 2500 balloons for a unique social media competition.
In a test of the car’s handling, and the skill of its professional stunt driver – Terry Grant, the range-topping model smashed through the iconic badge to set a new world record for the most amount of water balloons burst by a car.
The feat, which now stands at 2,738 balloons, is also the 20th record held by seasoned record breaker and Alfa Romeo driver Terry Grant.
