Sony Xperia Sola Impressed With “Float Touch” Seature

Sony Xperia Sola Impressed With “Float Touch” Seature:
The new high-end smartphone in the Xperia family, Sola, relies on many impressive features to impress the customers. The “float touch” technology allows the users to navigate through the menu without actually touching the screen. All they have to do is to hover the finger above the display like using an invisible mouse and the preferred folder or link is highlighted. Then, the desired content is only a tap away.

In addition, the new smartphone from Sony comes with support for Near Field Communication (NFC). In order to allow users to get the most out of this feature, the company also delivered two NFC Xperia Smarttags which can be customized with ten commands, according to the user’s choice. The Xperia Smarttags allow users to predefine a configuration for specific situation and later activate these settings just by approaching the smartphone to the Smarttag.
The devices allow Wi-Fi connection to be turned on or off, launch GPS or set up alarm in an instant.
“Turn on Wi-Fi® and turn up the ring volume at home. Set your alarm and turn off GPS at night. All with one easy touch. With ready-to-go profiles for home, office, car and bedroom, and the choice to set the options you want with LiveWare manager, it’s so easy to use SmartTags wherever you are,”
reads the official description. As the NFC technology reaches the mainstream, we’ll see more smart gags on the market from various manufacturers and the functionality is going to reveal a wider range of applications.
Build for “serious entertainment”, Xperia Sola comes with a super high resolution 3.7 inch Reality Display. The Japanese phone maker even encourages users to watch the latest movies on the smartphone’s display. “Add crystal clear tones with 3D surround sound audio through your headphones and you’ll feel part of the picture” teases us Sony. In addition, Xperia Sola comes with 1GHz dual core processor which gives it more power than other Android high end smartphones.
When it comes to the design, the new Xperia model has a sleek appearance with clean lines and slightly curved edges. Sola comes in three colours, black, white and bright red.
