Sprint and Samsung today announced the Replenish, a new Android handset that falls under Sprint's sustainability initiatives. The Replenish, which has a touch screen and a portrait QWERTY keyboard, is made from recycled and recyclable materials. It has a 2.8-inch QVGA display, 2 megapixel camera with video capture, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, and supports memory cards up to 32GB. The Replenish will come with a new Sprint ID Pack, with content focused on sustainability. The Replenish runs Android 2.2. It will be available starting May 8 for $49.99. Sprint noted that it is waiving the $10 premium data charge for this phone. Sprint also announced that the Samsung Restore (released in 2010) will now be available via its prepaid Virgin Mobile service. It will be available starting April 18 for $79.99.
