Leaked Samsung Galaxy S III Video Originates From Vietnam, Hints At Features
Leaked Samsung Galaxy S III Video Originates From Vietnam, Hints At Features:
The Samsung Galaxy S III release event in London is less than two weeks from today. The Korean manufacturer will announce the device at the 2012 Olympics Venue on May 3rd. Surely it is looking for a big release event, as millions of people will watch it. It has already been reported that Samsung is looking forward to a release event of Olympic proportions. So any information leaks right now will kill the hype. Samsung’s worst nightmare seems to have originated from Vietnam, as a video went online today in which the device is allegedly Samsung’s next Galaxy smartphone.
Vietnamese website Tinhte claims to have got it’s hands on a secret Samsung product named GT-I9300. If the company is sticking with it’s naming convention, then this device has to be the Galaxy S III. However the person in the video himself claims that there can be changes to the design, but the internal hardware specifications will remain the same. At this point in time, I’m quite sure people are wondering how the device looks from outside and whether or not Samsung has really fashioned the body out of a ceramic material rather than plastic.
This video reveals the following specifications: A quadcore 1.4 GHz processor manufactured by Samsung coupled with 1GB of RAM. 8 megapixel camera on the back plus a 2 megapixel one at the front. A 4.6-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display at 720 x 1184 resolution. Battery is said to be of 2,050mAh with NFC capability built in. On board memory has been pegged at 16GB whereas microSD capability is said to be present. No exciting revelations there I must say, all of this has already been known for the past couple of months through rumours.
It is interesting to note that the original source of this video has now gone offline. Even the video by this source has been made private. However during the brief time it was online, several copies were uploaded on different sites, so catching a hold of this video is not that hard. The video in question has also been posted down below. Samsung has been reached out to for a comment on this situation, but all they’re saying is that they’ll be able to tell more about this device at the event on May 3rd.
Even in this video it is hard to discern whether the device is made out of a ceramic material, like most of us have been hoping for. Check out the video below and see if you can find something interesting about this allegedly leaked Samsung Galaxy S III.

Special HP Pavilion DM1 By Alex Herchcovitch
Special HP Pavilion DM1 By Alex Herchcovitch:
There is nothing like a cool designer adding their magical touch to laptop and in this case, HP has turned to the Brazilian designer Alexandre Herchcovitch for inspiration on the popular entry level Pavilion DM1 laptop. The laptop would normally be in a matt black, but it has been transformed with some serious gold coloured styling on the lid and around the touchpad area too. However, that it not all, the designer has added his flair to the mouse and special gold coloured sleeve too.
However, it is not all about looks, the HP Pavilion by Alex Herchcovitch has some upgrades under that flashy exterior, so let’s see what it has on offer, there is the standard 11.6 inch diagonal HD BrightView LED backlit display with a 1366 x 768 of pixel resolutions and built in HP TrueVision HD web camera with digital microphone.
It is powered by the average 1.65 GHz VISION E2 AMD dual-core E-450 accelerated processor and the graphics are coming from the AMD Radeon HD 6320 discrete class graphics card with up to 1973 MB total graphics memory available.
There will be 4 GB of DDR3 SDRAM of internal memory and a 500 GB 5400 RPM SATA hard disk drive (HDD) with HP ProtectSmart hard drive protection for storage purposes. Networking could not be any easier with the 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, 10/100/1000 gigabit Ethernet and there is even Bluetooth wireless technology available for connecting to other devices.
Other features available on this laptop are the three standard USB 2.0 ports, the HDMI out port and Beats Audio system. It measures around 11.5 inches (L) x 8.5 inches (W) x 1.25 inch (H) and weighs in at 3.52 pound with the six-cell lithium-ion battery in place.
This special edition HP Pavilion laptop with the Alex Herchcovitch styling is on sale now at $630, which is around $230 more than the standard version in plain old black, but this designer edition does have better specs.

Lenovo gets ready the IdeaPad S206
Lenovo gets ready the IdeaPad S206:
As we have covered before there are certain criteria to be met in order to qualify as an ultrabook. These are light, thin, instant on features and powered by an Intel processor, but the Lenovo IdeaPad S206 hits all of the ultrabooks marks apart from being powered by Intel.
So this ultraportable laptop is slim at under an inch thick, light at under three pounds and is powered by AMD processors, but that does not make it bad computer in fact, this is a very stylish design available in white, grey or pink and it offers the buyer a whole range of options to choose from.
The Lenovo IdeaPad S206 comes with a neat 11.6 inch LED backlit wide screen HD display with a 1366 × 768 of pixel resolutions and there is a built in 0.3 mega pixel web camera too. When it comes to the specs, the buyer gets to choose from a range of features such as the up to AMD Brazos Dual Core C-60 processor and AMD Radeon HD 6290 graphics card supporting DirectX 11
There are still more choices to made with up to 2 GB 1600 MHz DD3 memory and the up to 500 GB hard disk drive (HDD) for storage. Connectivity offers the minimum one fast connecting USB 3.0 port, one standard style USB 2.0 port, a card reader and there is the important HDMI output for connecting to larger displays such as an HD television.
Networking offers integrated Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, WiMAX, as well as 3G and 4G support so there are plenty of options available there for the user. At under an inch thick and weighing in at under three pounds even with the battery pack in place that Lenovo say should be good for up four hours of power, this is an ultrabook in but name due to the lack of an Intel processor.
Currently as mentioned earlier the IdeaPad S206 is on sale in Japan, but it should be available in other markets soon where the starting price is expected to be around $620 mark.

Online Identity Theft: 5 Tips to Steer Well Clear
Online Identity Theft: 5 Tips to Steer Well Clear:
There’s little intro needed here – we all probably know at least one person that’s had their identity or credit information stolen. Flat out, it’s the pits. Here is a list of 5 ways to make sure you aren’t the next victim:
- Be wary of Phishing
This is a common strategy hackers use to trick you into giving out your personal information. The most common examples include fake offers and promotions. We’ve all received that email saying you’ve won something and all you have to do is answer a few quick questions and it’s yours. Put your excitement on hold and maybe question why this random company is saying you won a contest you never even entered. Second-guess any offers or promotions you receive, and double check the source. Simply type the message or sender name into Google, and if the world “scam” pops up anywhere, chances are it is one.
- Keep your passwords safe
Although pretty straightforward, it’s surprising how many people aren’t more protective of their passwords. The rules are simple: don’t write your passwords down, make them easy to remember, but do not make them easy to guess. Be sure to use combinations of unrelated words, letters, symbols and numbers. Also make your passwords unique to each of your different accounts, so if one site is compromised, the hacker will not be able to access all your accounts.
- Keep your security software up to date
As great as it is to have anti-malware software on your computer, if it’s not up to date, it’s basically useless and you’re computer is susceptible to harmful viruses and trojans. To create a barrier from untrusted networks, make sure you have a firewall set up if you access the internet through a wireless network. For those of you who need a bit heavier security options, see the next tip.
- Implement key management software
This is a good option for larger companies or those individuals with more technical sensitive information that needs good protection. Using key management services is a great way to ensure the safety of your data and is the best way to keep hackers guessing.
- Know the company you are dealing with
If you’re about to submit a credit card number, social security number or any other piece of highly personal information, think twice before doing so. If it’s a company you aren’t familiar with, be very cautious and to play it safe; do some research. Many companies have a 24-hour hotline you can call with any questions you may have concerning the privacy of your information. Any company that you can trust will be able to answer why they need this information and what they will be doing with it.
No matter what your security needs are, there’s plenty of ways to make sure your information is kept safe. Unfortunately, there’s also plenty of ways that hackers can get to your files if, you aren’t careful. Be safe, be smart, and always avoid Trojans.

New iPhone Body Might Have A Liquid Metal Enclosure
New iPhone Body Might Have A Liquid Metal Enclosure:
As Samsung gears up to launch Galaxy S III on May 3rd, Apple fans are anxiously waiting for Cupertino’s next iPhone. A lot has been said and heard about this device. A new rumour has cropped up today which claims that the next iPhone will have a liquid metal body enclosure. It has been obvious for quite some time that the next iPhone will have a redesigned body, a one completely different from that of iPhone 4 / iPhone 4S.
Once Apple got over with the New iPad release in March, the focus of rumour mill shifted towards Apple’s sixth generation iPhone. Apple released iPhone 4S last year in October. Before the release, it was expected that Apple will release a revamped iPhone 5 with an all new design and improved hardware. However that did not happen, the company shelved those plans and released a slightly modified version of iPhone 4 and called it the iPhone 4S. This iPhone is exactly similar in design to it’s predecessor, but comes with an 8 megapixel camera, A5X processor and Siri voice assistant.
The fourth and fifth generation iPhone both have glass based form factor. Some users have criticized Apple choice of opting for glass front and back panels, as glass tends to be a delicate material. It was rumoured last year as well that Apple might deviate from it’s glass obsession, but since it released iPhone 4S, the rumour has come up again and seems like a possibility for the next generation iPhone.
It should be noted that Apple already has acquired intellectual property rights for liquid metal technology. They have utilized it in the product of iPhones, but it’s use has been limited to the SIM card tray ejector tool. Using liquid metal as enclosure would make the device thinner and much more resistant to scratches, bumps and corrosion. The liquid metal is most likely going to be copper, titanium, zirconium or nickel. This metal alloy will also be easier to manufacture for Apple.
Another new rumour claims that Apple will announce the device at Worldwide Developers Conference 2012. Apple has unveiled previous iPhones at this event, but according to my sources the company will stick to it’s yearly product release cycles. This means that the next iPhone will be released in Fall 2012, probably in October. The next iPhone is also rumoured to have a quadcore A6 processor, at least 1GB of RAM, a better camera and battery apart from other improved hardware.
