This sedan concept called the FCV-R is powered by hydrogen, which Toyota says is a promising source of CO2 emission-free energy that can be produced by a variety of sources and can easily be stored and transported. The fuel cell is located beneath the body, allowing maximum space for its four passengers. The fuel cell stack, which consists of a 70 MPa high-pressure hydrogen tank, boasts a cruising range of about 700 km or more. Toyota says that the car is scheduled for production in 2015.
