Fiat 500 Limousine:

Fiat 500 Limousine

Let’s say you were in the market for a limo and were looking for something a little different, something smaller. What to buy? How about a Fiat 500 limousine built by Castagna Milano?

Located in Milan, the coachbuilders Castagna Milano announced not one but three versions of a Fiat 500 limo targeted for the U.S. market: LimoCity, LimoSun and LimoCity President.

The LimoCity is the traditional limousine, based not on a Lincoln Town Car (as most traditional limos are) but rather a stretched Fiat 500. All three limos now measure 209.4 in, whereas a standard 500 is 137.8 in. Also, the wheelbase has gone up from 90.6 in. to 160.6 in. For the LimoCity version, Castagna Milano raised the height to 62.2 in., up from the stock 58.7 in. Up to two rear sliding doors will be made available.

As the name implies, LimoSun is the open-air version of the Fiat 500 limo. Based on the 500C convertible, the LimoSun has a passenger area rebuilt to seat four, with each pair of seats facing the other. To fully indulge in the outdoors, the sides are designed to be open with available transparent panels. Think Pope-mobile for the Miami crowd.

The third announcement is the LimoCity President. This version of the Fiat limo uses the larger American-spec 500 built in Mexico, and uses two electric motors for motivation. The motors provide all-wheel-drive traction and propel the President to speeds of up to 100 mph. The range is a claimed 155 miles.
