Has the romance fizzled between you and that Maserati Coupe that’s been collecting dust in your driveway these past few years? G&S Exclusive wants to rekindle the romance with a series of updates that borrow from past and present Maserati sport coupes, to create the new 4200 Evo. Using the Maserati Coupe, built from 2001-2007, as its base, G&S has modified the front fascia and fitted the larger grille from the current GranTurismo. At the rear, you’ll notice the “boomerang” taillights from the 3200 GT have been fitted. Brand aficionados usually prefer this style, used from 1998-2001, rather the blockier units that replaced them. We think it’s a clever retro-themed update, though we’re less convinced when it comes to the Evo’s massive rear diffuser. Maybe it’ll grow on us? Or maybe the blindingly orange paintjob is to blame here? Mechanical changes are limited to a KW Variant 3 sports suspension system and OZ Ultraleggera light-alloy wheels (235/30ZR20 front, 275/25ZR20 rear) fitted with a set of gummy Dunlop tires.
