Chevy unveiled the 2013 Traverse today, a restyled large crossover with new styling and an interior that retains its class-leading space. The improved Traverse cabin holds three rows of seating that can seat up to eight, while providing an ample 24.4 cu. ft. of cargo room. Since we’re counting, the Traverse boasts 12 cupholders. Other upgrades to the interior include soft-touch materials, OnStar and a 6.5-in. touchscreen radio with rearview camera, all as standard equipment. The Chevrolet MyLink infotainment system is optional.

Still powering the Chevy Traverse is a 3.6-liter V-6 engine. Utilizing direct injection and continuously variable valve timing, the engine produces 288 bhp and 270 lb.-ft. of torque. Tuned for regular octane gasoline, the Traverse is rated to tow up to 5200 lb. A 6-speed automatic is the only transmission available, driving the front wheels. All-wheel drive will be available.
The 2013 Chevy Traverse will be offered as three models: LS, LT and LTZ. Production at the Lansing, Michigan, plant begins at the end of the year.
