Having previously attended with the affordable IPS paneled monitors, this time AOC comes back with innovations. LED Razor series monitor introduced by AOC as their newest product line. Carrying the name of
Razor, this monitor is designed to have a thin body, especially on the screen. E943Fw is one of this product line.
AOC Razor e943Fw features an ultra slim cabinet measuring just 12.9mm thin. The sharp 18.5 LED panel has an Ultra-High Dynamic Contrast Ratio (DCR) of 50,000,000:1, revealing darker image areas in greater depth than ever before. The mercury (Hg) free LED backlight saves up to 50% of the energy compared with a traditional 4 CCFL screen. Power is further reduced by the e-Saver technology, which enables the user
to set the monitor to a lower power configuration when the PC is in screen saver mode or powered off, or even if the user is simply away for a while. The illuminated touch key controls, along with graphical OSD menu icons, make monitor adjustment user-friendly. The base doubles as a unique smart wall-mount that saves space and retains a Tilt function for ergonomic viewing. e943Fw is ideal for professional and home users.
AOC e943Fw is the low-end variant of the Razor series. Although it’s 18.5 inch screen only, this product still comes with the Razor standard design. The screen is thin and sleek glossy black color. But unlike the screen, the monitor base edge designed using the white color. One of the secrets of the slim screen is located on the holder.
This is where all the inputs such as VGA and DVI-centered so that components can be minimized.
AOC e943Fw adopt the touch panel to display settings. The sensor is sensitive, so you will not experience difficulties when they want to set the display of this monitor. Like the LED monitor in general, this monitor also has a good brightness level and evenly color shown is also fairly fit although only with the default settings.
Unfortunately, still there is lack of contrast when displaying white shades.
