Suzuki pulled a wild card out of sleeve its for SEMA by introducing the Grand Vitara Marine Concept. This vehcile was designed by the students at Ohio Technical Collge (OTC) as a project to highlight two of Suzuki’s main brands: automotive and marine. Aside from the new convertible design and wild paint scheme, the Grand Vitara Marine can motor in the open seas, thanks to the boat motor installed at the rear. The concept at SEMA (we got a preview of the vehicle before the show) comes complete with fishing poles strapped to the rollover bar. When I asked an OTC rep if I could take the thing out on the water, he whispered to me, “It doesn’t float…it’s still a concept vehicle.”
