Thinking out of the box.

Honda introduced it’s new line of N Box people movers and gave a sneak preview of a new variant that may be introduced next year.

One of the so-called Kei class of vehicles, the N Box is aptly named – think first generation Scion xB but smaller, with sliding doors and power from a turbo 660 cc 3-cylinder engine.

The N Concept 4 is less boxy, has round headlamps and favors conventional opening doors front and rear. The exterior design study was slipped into the show with no explanation of it in the press kit. A Honda spokesman said it was the design staff’s way of previewing the next model in the range that will use the same platform as the N Box.
