Ford will take the chance offered by the upcoming Auto Expo in New Delhi, India (January 7-11), to introduce a new concept model that will preview a new - but, as for yet, unnamed - global vehicle, that should become available in India as well as other global markets in the near future. With expected attendance of 1.4 million visitors, the Indian event is actually an ideal location to showcase the newest Ford product.
As for now, all we have is just one teaser (above) with a bit of the concept car’s front-end, that we would assume is a compact 5-door crossover model based on the same architecture of the Fiesta. The new vehicle will be the latest One Ford global product, aiming to expand Ford’s footprint in the world’s fastest-growing auto markets, which obviously include India. It will also be the second of eight products that Ford plans to bring to India by 2016.
