Scion presents the FR-S GReddy, a drift-car version of the recently unveiled FR-S that will go on to compete in the 2012 Formula DRIFT series with veteran driver Ken Gushi behind the wheel. The car has been developed by Scion Racing together with racing specialist GReddy, and is powered by a 600 hp engine specifically designed for drift racing.
The model also uses a special body kit inclusive of a massive rear wing and several other bits to improve its cornering. Being it a proper race car, the whole interior has been stripped of all those elements that are not functional to the purpose of winning races, which includes just about everything. In place of all that, the car gets a roll cage that makes it eligible for the championship it will soon take on.
