Even with studded tires it’s tough driving in the only all-snow rally in the WRC unless you’re Scandinavian. Just ask eight-times WRC champ Sebastien Loeb who went off in the snow on the first day, but eventually finished in sixth place overall. Ironically Loeb is the only non-Scandinavian to have ever won the Swedish Rally back in 2004.

Ford and Citroen dominated the top ten results, save for one WRC Mini Team Portugal John Cooper Works WRC, driven by Patrik Sandell from Sweden, which finished in 8th position.

It was good result for both Latvala and Ogier since they both crashed out of the Monte Carlo Rally last month.
