TMS comes up with 900GB, 330K IOPS RamSan-70 PCIe SSD :: Posted by THRASHER2: "Texas Memory Systems has recently unveiled its new top of the tops enterprise storage solution, the 900GB RamSan-70 PCI-Express solid state drive which features high-grade reliability and is capable of 330,000 IOPS for random reads and 160,000 IOPS for writes.
The 900GB beast is equipped with two Power PC-based Series-7 controllers, 32nm SLC (single-level cell) NAND Flash made by Toshiba, it has a PCI-Express x8 interface and a 2 GB/s peak bandwidth.
According to its maker, the 900GB RamSan-70 will start shipping in 4 to 8 weeks.
