Audi Q5 facelift: new spy shots

Audi Q5 facelift: new spy shots:

Audi Q5 facelift spy shots

Here are the first spy shots of the upcoming Audi Q5 facelift, caught on camera during some cold weather testing. The pictured mule tried to go unnoticed by dressing itself up as the current version, but those chrome accents in the upper corners of the front grille are indeed quite revealing. It was probably an attempt to hide the newly designed hexagonal front grille.

The lower part of the front bumper seems to have drawn some inspiration from the most recent S-line models, more precisely the A6 and new A4 facelift. The head lights will also be updated, but they have not been used on this prototype. As for the interior, the Q5 will get the latest version of the MMI navigation plus system, with Audi connect and Google maps. The restyled Audi Q5 should become available on the market by the end of the year with an engine range pretty similar to the one currently in use by the outgoing version. Rumor has it that in North America the new line-up will see the addition of a 2.0 TFSI hybrid and 3.0 TDI drivetrains.
