Rather than a climax for Porsche at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, we might actually see a denoument on the 911 front as fans skip the Carrera and Carrera S presentation to start dreaming about the future models. The new 2012 Porsche 911 will obviously get all the different versions we’re used to seeing, including a Turbo, GT3, GT2, Carrera 4 etc., but here is Theophilus Chin with a rendering of the future Porsche 911 Cabrio.
We like it, but then we like the Porsche 911 in general anyway. This particular rendering shows how the 911 cabriolet will look on the longer 991 model, for a more sloping look compared to the previous 997 model. Porsche already has this one up its sleeve ready for a debut, most likely with a fa roof and in the next few months. Stay tuned for live Porsche 911 pics from Frankfurt.
