After Peugeot went all out and released all the details and pics of its new Peugeot HX1 Concept, Citroen is being more diffident in French style and keeping the news on its new 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show concept to itself. This Citroen concept Frankfurt teaser video doesn’t show us much, except what looks to be something akin to a high-tech golf cart.
Citroen has announced simply that it will be an “extremely original concept” and from these first images we wonder if it won’t be a rival to the Renault Twizy. While the urban electric car from Renault mightn’t be the first thing that comes to mind to build a competitor to, anyone who’s actually driven the Twizy seems to think it’s impressive as a form of city motoring.
On the sarcastic end of things, one comment we read on the internet suggested that the new Citroen concept might be a DS4 whose rear windows actually open. We expect there will be some more teaser images or videos before Frankfurt, with full details to be released at the show.
