As part of its homage to Shelby American’s 50th anniversary, the Barrett-Jackson Auction will sell five Shelby Mustangs from 1965-69 as part of its auction January 15-22 at Westworld in Scottsdale, Arizona.
The series of cars is headlined by an all-original ‘65 Shelby GT350 Fastback with just 44,000 miles on the odometer. The ‘66 model year is represented by a fully restored GT 350H, which attained notoriety as a Hertz rental car. For 1967, Barrett-Jackson will put a Shelby GT350 Mustang that has earned a Shelby American Auto Club (SAAC) Concours Gold rating. The final two Shelbys are GT500s, the ‘68 is a convertible, while the ‘69 is a fastback.
