How is what we make in Maryland changing…and how can manufacturers adapt? A new report out today from the Brookings Institution examines how the industry is shifting around the country.  It’s called “Locating American Manufacturing: Trends in the Geography of Production.”
Sheilah discusses it with one of the authors of the report — Howard Wial, a fellow at the Brookings Institution’s Metropolitan Policy Program, and with  Mike Galiazzo, head of the Regional Manufacturing Institute, which represents the interests of manufacturers in Maryland.
We also recommend checking out this special report recently published by The Economist.
