Toshiba announces the Dynabook Satellite T772/W5TF:
The latest addition to the Dynabook range of Satellite laptops by Toshiba has been announced, it will be the T772/W5TF as 17.3 inch machine with a 2.30 GHz Intel Core i7-3610QM processor, the Intel HM76 Express Chipset and the NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M graphics card. This is a high end laptop but not necessarily aimed at the gamer market, it looks like a machine that has been designed for consumers who looking for high quality and are not afraid of paying for it, hence the steep $1,900 price tag.

So maybe it’s time to take a closer look at this interesting and costly laptop, the Dynabook Satellite T772/W5TF offers a large 17.3 inch wide LCD (16:9) HD + TFT colour Clear SuperView LED (LED backlight power saving) display with a 1600 × 900 of pixel resolutions and built in web camera too.
It will be powered by the Intel Core i7-3610QM third generation processor with up to 3.30 GHz maximum operating frequency supporting the Intel HM76 Express Chipset and the graphics coming from the NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M graphics card.

There is 8 GB of memory made up by 2 x 4 GB units but this can go up to 16 GB of PC3-12800 (DDR3-1600) with a bit of moving around. There is a mice sized 750 GB hard disk drive (HDD) with 5,400 rpm, support Serial ATA and of course there is the IEEE 802.11 b/g/n wireless kit installed. The laptop measures 28.0 mm to 33.7 mm (H) × 272.2 mm (D) 418.2 mm (W) and weighs in at around three kilos even with the battery pack installed.
It does not seem to be much for the money, in fact, a laptop with similar specs can be bought somewhat cheaper, but as the consumer will say, it’s not a Toshiba and for some buyers it seems that a brand name is worth a little bit extra.

The Dynabook Satellite T772/W5TF is expected to be ready for shipping next week, when it will come with a starting price of around $1,900!
