iPad, the iBook Store extended to other countries

During the presentation of the iPad, Apple had said that the service would make use of the iBook Store in USA only. Now, by further declarations, it seems that the Cupertino company is working to increase this service in other countries.

The confirmation comes from an advertisement from Apple that provides new jobs for the division "Canada & Asia Pacific," which will store the iBook. As for the coverage of other countries, there is still no reliable data.

Who will to be taken, will be involved in determining strategies and priorities of the eBook selected, establish and develop relationships with new publishers and marketing service providers, coordinate production and marketing partners with the teams.

Apple also looking for independent publishers, perhaps for the creation of eBooks own company.

PCSX: the emulator for the PlayStation is coming on N900!

After having tried many, the PlayStation emulator for the N900 is coming also! The first attempts at porting Maemo 5 and N900 psx4all had been made, but unfortunately the results were not so well, especially for graphics acceleration.

Smoku Fortunately, the developer has thought of abandoning psx4all well and try your luck with PCSX (anche’esso PC emulator, very popular).

Although until now the emulator takes his first steps on Maemo SDK, it seems that the speed is excellent and that the code is clean, understandable and straightforward. But even more important is support for OpenGL!

We look forward to new updates.

iPad on sale from March 26th?

Stranger Store Manager Apple Store an anonymous American, one who takes charge of organizing the entire job in-store in Cupertino, would have revealed to The Examiner, a rumor about the release date iPad American stores.

Apple had decided to drop this date, March 26, exactly one Friday. This choice, though not extend to the usual habits of Apple to market its new products on a Tuesday, it turns out to be the first time. The decision had already been taken in the past for the release of other very important products for the company, like the iPhone, because Friday is a day that can lead to long queues outside the Apple Store.

In addition, the Manager would also have said that as of March 10 will begin the official presentation of the product to Apple employees, and always on the same day, employees who work at the store in Cupertino will be taught how to provide better support to requests and queries consumers, while from March 15, will begin advertising the product, which seems to be focused on his duties as eBooks.

Recall that these reports are concerned only with the U.S. territory, since as already mentioned in this article, there may be problems which would delay the sales in the rest of the iPad, failing to fulfill the promise of Steve Jobs contemporary output of its new device in the U.S. and Europe.

We Italians do not have to wait and see how the events will take place, hoping for those interested in buying this new gem, "Made on Apple" that everything will be resolved for the better and as soon as possible.
