New 13-Inch And 15-Inch Thinner Macbook Pro To Release Next Month

New 13-Inch And 15-Inch Thinner Macbook Pro To Release Next Month:
Rumours regarding future Apple products are heating up. This just in: Apple is gearing up to release new 13 and 15-inch Macbook Pro models which are going to be thinner than ever before. Rumour has it that these models have already hit assembly lines, which basically means that Apple will be releasing them next month. We have known for quite some time that the Macbook Pro models were up for refresh, now it seems that they’re going to be released in the not-so-distant future.

Only yesterday we reported about an upcoming new 15-inch Macbook Air model which is supposedly going to be released next month. The Macbook Air has been an insanely popular notebook due to it’s amazingly thin design and low weight. The Air does not include an optical drive which is one of the reasons why it is so thin.
Rumour has it that the new 15-inch Macbook Air will feature Intel’s yet to be released Ivy Bridge processors. Currently the Macbook Air is available in 11 and 13-inch sizes. The new 15-inch model will be a new addition to the line-up. Today we hear reports about the Macbook Pro, which is also due for release next month.
DigiTimes posted a report online earlier today which also states the same about a new 13 and 15-inch Macbook Pro. It is being said that Apple is going to be the first manufacture to ship products with the Intel Ive Bridge chips. Intel has not released it’s next generation processors to the public yet. This means that if Apple does come out with new Macbook Air and Macbook Pro models next month, it will be the first to ship devices with this new, not to mention amazing, processor from Intel.
There’s little to know right now regarding specifications of the new 13 and 15-inch Macbook Pro. It will supposedly do away with the optical drive in order to keep thickness at minimum. It looks like the 17-inch Macbook Pro will retain the optical drive. People may argue that without optical drives, the 13 and 15-inch Macbook Pro models are just going to be overpriced versions of the new Macbook Air models. However, there’s more. Reports indicate that in terms of GPU / CPU performance, on board storage and RAM, the new Pro models will be far ahead of the Air.
Apple has already said that they will release some mind blowing products in 2012. One thing to note here is that both the new Air and Pro models are said to be releasing in April. This is highly likely as Apple does not follow strict release cycles for these products. Let’s just wait and see what Cupertino has got up it’s sleeves.
