I am having occasional crashes of my Vista PC (broken up and frozen picture) which occur at the same time as loss of ADSL sync with my hard wired USB modem.
Could this be a symptom of a failing modem? It is quite old (got it right at the start of broadband being rolled out).
Can a faulty USB device cause this kind of crash?"
