Chevrolet introduces Colorado, a new pick up that will soon go on sale worldwide - Europe included - making its debut on the Thai market. The new model is completely different from its predecessors: it is pretty similar to the Colorado Rally Concept showcased at the latest Frankfurt Motor Show and is the outcome of a two billion dollars investment from the GM group. The Colorado will be offered in many different versions, which may vary from market to market.
Several configurations have been announced so far, featuring single or double cabin, 2WD or 4WD, different types of finishing and new engines: a 2.5 litres 4 cylinder diesel engine producing 150hp and 350Nm of torque, and a turbocharged 2,8 litres with variable geometry, producing 180Hp and 470 Nm. An electronically controlled all wheel drive system is also available, which can be coupled with 5 speed manual or 6 speed automatic transmissions. All versions will come with ESP, ABS, traction control, cornering brake control and at least 2 airbags, although this standard equipment will be enhanced to for the European market.
