U.S.-bound A3 sedan
By summer, Audi is expected to announce the site of a North American assembly plant, though officials are mum about if the facility will be located in and around the VW plant in Chattanooga, Tenn. or perhaps in Mexico. Also, the product slated for the facility has yet to be named, although speculation centers around the new A3 sedan, which is designed primarily for the U.S. and which would benefit from a pricing perspective if it’s built here and not in Europe.
