German tuning company Carlsson will have a full lineup of modified Mercedes-Benz hardware on display this week during the 2012 Geneva Auto Show. We would love to grab the keys to the 652-bhp Carlsson CK63 RS, which is based on the already wickedly fast Mercedes CLS63 AMG sedan and, according to Carlsson, is capable of sprinting from 0 to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds. Not quite as dramatic, but still impressive, is the 310-bhp Carlsson has managed to find in the ML sport utility’s BlueTEC 3.0-liter V-6 – a sizeable jump from the standard 258 bhp. Also fitted is a set of 22-in. alloy wheels and Carlsson’s C-Tronic suspension system, which can be controlled using an iPhone or iPad. These cool touches are somewhat let down by CD35’s fussy new front fascia, which has gone into overdrive with extra lighting and polished mesh grilles.
