When it comes to gaming and entertainment laptops, the latest offering from Toshiba has to be right up there on the consumers shopping list. There are two versions of the 17.3 inch Qosmio X875 the standard model and the more expensive 3D version!
Both models feature a stylish diamond style designed aluminium body, with a fancy looking glowing red LED Qosmio logo on the cover and there is the very nice looking raised tile LED backlit keyboard, but it is what is underneath that really matters when it comes gamers etc.
The Qosmio X875 comes with a large 17.3 inch diagonal HD+ TruBrite display with a 1600 x 900 of pixel resolutions as standard, but the 3D version comes with a full 1080p high definition display with 3D ready screen that supports the NVIDIA 3D Vision 25 Kit with Lightboost.
It will be powered by a selection of third Generation Ivy Bridge Intel Core processors, supporting the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670M graphics processor that comes with 3 GB of GDDR5 discrete graphics memory. There will be a choice of storage solutions too, with hybrid hard drives and dual hard drives available offering up to 2 TB storage in various configurations.
Other features will include the dual USB Sleep & Charge ports, four fast connecting USB 3.0 ports and for the networking, there will be the usual Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections available. However, this is an entertainment and gaming machine and as such, there is built in Harman Kardon quad speakers, SRS Premium Sound, 3D Blu-ray Disc player, an HDMI port for connecting to any HDTV and it is supported by the Toshiba Media Controller software.
The Toshiba Qosmio X875 and Qosmio X875 3D laptops are available now with price starting at $1,300 to $2,500 for the 3D version, but depending on the options and upgrades chosen by the buyer the final price can be much higher!
