German aftermarket company Vath introduces a new tuning package for Mercedes C63 AMG Coupe that boosts the already impressive 457 hp-600Nm output of the original model up to 680 hp with 840 Nm (619 lb/ft) of peak torque. In order to achieve these staggering figures, the tuner added to the standard AMD 6.2-litre V8 a new supercharger along with re-calibrated ECU, water intercooling system, high performance air filters and new stainless steel exhaust system. According to Vath, these modifications allow the car to sprint from 0 to 100km/h (62mph) in 4 seconds flat with a top speed of 335 km/h (208 mph).
The German tuner has also installed a high-performance braking system with 380 mm discs, 20″ alloy wheels and a Clubsport coilover suspension, which can lower the car between 20 mm and 65 mm. The body-kit includes carbon fiber front spoiler, rear diffuser, boot lip spoiler and larger fenders, which widen the car’s track by 80 mm. In the cabin we find a sports steering wheel with wood or carbon fiber trim, a 360 km/h speedometer and more carbon fiber inserts on dashboard and door panels. The whole package is priced at is priced at 64,308 € (about 83,600$ - 54,000£), car NOT included.
