Porsche tuning specialist Albert Motorsport presents its latest creation: a ‘regular’ Porsche 911 GT2 turned into a unique flat top racer dubbed GT2 R Flat Top. Don’t be fooled by the aesthetics of the car you see in the pictures, this is not a tuned-up 997: it is a 996 with just panels, headlamps and tail lamps taken from the 997. The original 911 model was completely dismantled and reassembled with a new, wider bodywork with a flat, lower roof line. The German tuner documented the whole development of the model through a series of pictures, a small part of which you can see in the photo gallery. Unfortunately there aren’t any performance figures to speak of as Albert Motorsport did not release any detail on what’s going on under the fancy new dress, but given the reputation of the company we are sure it is something that lives up to the car’s outstanding look.
