The Taiwan based computer maker Asus are getting ready to launch their latest product, it is a 17.3 inch laptop and it will go under the name of the K75. Not a lot is known on this machine at the moment, as Asus must be waiting for the main launch to show off all that this smart looking machine has to offer the user.
But what we do know is that the K75 will be powered by the latest third generation Ivy Bridge processor, which has been designed to reduce power usage, offer RAM support for up to 2800 MT/s and therefore in turn will offer a massive twenty to thirty per cent increase in CPU and GPU performance.
This is all great, but what we really want to know is what does this new design have to offer, well it comes with a 17.3 inch display with a 1600 × 900 pixel resolution, there is a built in web camera and microphone for easy face to face communications.
It will be powered by the latest third generation Ivy Bridge Intel Core processor with tri-gate transistor technology and it is supposed to be offering the user superior graphics performance when working with the 28 nm NVIDIA Geforce GTX 670M graphics card installed.
There will be up to 8 GB of DDR3 RAM internal memory and up to 2 TB of hard disk drive (HDD) storage capacity. Finally, the buyer will get the choice of opting for a DVD writer or a Blu-ray drive; this will depend on what the buyer will use the laptop for.
That is about it when it comes the all new K75 laptop from Asus, currently the company have not released any details on when it will become available or what the starting price will be either, we wait in anticipation for the Asus announcement, which should be coming soon.
