Lenovo has made its latest and it has to be said smartest looking ultrabook the IdeaPad U300e available from its website, this is a fully loaded laptop with all of the features that you would expect from a top brand such as Lenovo.
However once again we have an issue with the price, do not get us a wrong we like the $959.20 price tag, we are just too sure about how the consumer arrives at this price from the starting figure quoted at $1,499 and with online discounts and the use of this code EMPLOYEEPRICE0216, the buyer can save well over $500!
So, apart from that, the Lenovo IdeaPad U300e ultrabook offers some interesting features such as the 13.3 inch high definition glare display with a 1366 x 768 of pixel resolution and with an integrated 1.3 mega pixel 720p HD web camera. It is powered by the cool second generation Intel Core i5-2467M Processor, which is an ultra low voltage CPU with four threads and two processing cores clocked at 1.6 GHz but this increases to 2.3 GHz with Turbo Boost 2.0. Graphics come from the standard style Intel HD Graphics 3000 card.
Total internal memory is up 4 GB of DDR3 SDRAM at 1333 MHz, with a total 532 GB storage, made by a 500 GB hard disk drive (HDD) and lightweight 32 GB solid state drive (SSD). Networking is provided by the Intel 1030 BGN+BT Wireless feature and the handy Bluetooth 3.0. Other features include two standard USB 2.0 ports, one fast USB 3.0 port, HDMI out port and the multi finger one piece TouchPad that comes with no buttons.
The IdeaPad U300e measures just 0.7 of an inch at its thickest part and weighs just 1.58 kg with the integrated 4 cell Li-Polymer battery installed! Lenovo claim up to seven hours of power from the battery while running Microsoft’s Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit operating system.
The IdeaPad U300e ultrabook has a starting price of $1,499.00, but as usual, the Lenovo web price is just $1,199.00, however after adding the special eCoupon EMPLOYEEPRICE0216 the buyer instantly saves $539.80 leaving the total to pay is just $959.20!
