Windows has a default option to hide folders, but it has many limitations like people can still see them if users unselect the option and they are also visible in searches. Absolute Folder Hider is a nice freeware tool for Windows 7 which allows you to hide any folder and they are not visible to any users and will not even appear in searches in Windows. This simple tools protects your folders from other users as they are not accessible.
The interface is very simple, all you need to do is to add the folders which you want to protect by hiding and then click on the hide button and now you can refresh your Windows explorer. The folders will be invisible. If you want to unhide them, follow the same steps and use the unhide button.
