Any consumer who is looking for a brand new laptop could well be tempted by the brightly coloured Lifebook AH54/GN from Fujitsu with its black & red keyboard and choice of chassis colour. However, not to be swayed by mere colour, the Lifebook AH54/GN is one of the computers that would not normally be at the top of your laptop shopping list, this is because it is not exciting enough as the specifications and features will show.
This smart looking laptop from Fujitsu comes with a 15.6 inch super fine wide LCD type display with a 1366 × 768 of pixel resolutions supporting the Intel Wireless Display and coming with a built in 3.0 mega pixel web camera with motion sensors.
It will be powered by the 2.30 GHz Intel Core i3-2350M processor; it is not the best of the range but will do a good job if not pushed too hard. There will be 4 GB of DDR3 RAM but it can also support dual-channel. When it comes to storage there is a good sized 750 GB hard disk drive (HDD) available.
Other features include a Super Multi Drive, an HDMI port for connecting to a larger HD television, an analog RGB, two super fast connecting USB 3.0 and there are three standard issue USB 2.0 ports too, which will support the charge off USB power feature.
Networking is simply just the normal built-in IEEE 802.11 b/g/n wireless connection. This laptop runs the Genuine Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit operating system, weighs around 2.5 kilos with the built-in battery pack that Fujitsu claims will run for just two hours, which is nothing to get too excited about.
This is laptop is due to go on sale worldwide, but is currently on sale in Japan with a price tag starting at $780
