The Toshiba Satellite L745 S4130 laptop:
Despite this being a laptop produced by Toshiba, this is effectively an entry level machine if we go on price and processor. However, it may be a budget laptop but it is a good laptop none the less. It is a fourteen inch version with the Intel i3 processor, it is reasonably light at around five pounds and yet it looks the part with a stylish silver finish.
There is a decent sized 14.0 inch widescreen high definition TruBrite LED Backlit display with a 1366 x 768 of pixel resolutions. It also comes with a web camera and microphone, to make face to face communications easy and straight forward.

This laptop will be powered by the entry level Intel Core i3-2350M processor with the Mobile Intel HD Graphics that offers 64 MB to 1696 MB dynamically allocated shared graphics memory for decent video playback.
The Satellite L745 S4130, has a handy 4 GB of DDR3 1333MHz memory and there is a 640 GB 5400rpm, Serial ATA hard disk drive (HDD) providing ample storage facilities.

There is the normal wireless networking with 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi and a 10/100 Ethernet LAN. While connectivity is covered by two USB 2.0 ports with one USB port offering sleep & charge and there is an HDMI output port too, which makes connecting the device to a larger screen easy, so that the DVD-SuperMulti drive is made full use of.
The base model will weigh in at 4.98 pounds that is with the Li-Ion 48Wh, 6 Cell battery that Toshiba claim will offer Up to 5.85 hours of power, but this will depend on how the laptop is being used.

The prices of the new Toshiba Satellite L745 S4130 will start from a reasonable $570 putting it right in the middle of the competition.
