The UK based computer manufacturer Novotech has revealed its first attempt to get into the ultrabook market. The nFinity 2367 ticks all of the boxes to qualify as an ultrabook, its Intel powered, light, slim, takes just fifteen seconds from off to read to go and has starting price of just $690! Does this sound too good to be true? Well let us have a closer look at the nFinity 2367.
The Novotech nFinity 2367 ultrabook comes with a fourteen inch high definition display with a 1366 x 768 of pixel resolution and there is a built in 1.3 mega pixel web camera. There is a choice of processor starting with the 2nd generation Intel i3 2367M dual core version with 3 MB and a 1.4 GHz clock speed. Graphics are provided by the Intel HM65 Chipset. Internal memory starts at 2 GB but can go up to 4 GB of DDR3 RAM, while storage starts with the Crucial M4 64 GB SATA solid state drive (SSD) but it can be upgraded to 128 GB for more than enough storage.
Other features include three standard style USB 2.0 ports, 2 x 1.5 W Internal Speakers, three into one digital media card reader and the all important HDMI & VGA ports. As expected, there will be an 802.11 b/g/n wireless LAN connection and the Bluetooth 3.0 easy networking. Size wise this ultrabook measures 333 mm (W) x 229.5 mm (D) x 18 mm (H) and weighs in at just 1.65 kilos with the 58.5 WH 7.4V polymer cell battery installed that Novotech say will last for up to seven hours on a single charge.
The nFinity 2367 base model has a starting price of $690 but that is with no operating system installed, which is a bit annoying because it takes the starting price up to $835!
