The Australian based computer and tablet maker Pioneer have released the latest edition to their laptop range; it is the DreamBook Ultra Power W11 pretty impressive it is too, with high end Intel processors, Nvidia graphics and plenty of storage options too. This is not an ultrabook as such, but could easily qualify as is light, slim and has a decent battery offering up to seven hours of power.
The DreamBook Ultra Power W11 11.6 inch (29.46 cm ) high definition 16:9 crystal bright screen with a 1366 x 768 of pixel resolution and it comes with a built in 1.3 mega pixel video camera. It will be powered by the 3rd generation Intel Core i7 Quad Core processor, supporting a 3rd generation Intel HM76 Chipset and graphics come from the NVIDIA GTX650M (N13P-GT) + 2GB DDR3 next generation graphics card.
There is expandable memory up to 8 GB dual channel of DDR3 RAM and there is one changeable 2.5” 9.5mm (H) 320 GB to 1 TB hard disk drive (HDD) SATA as well as up to 256 GB solid state drive (SSD) for storage purposes.
Connectivity is from a couple of fast USB 3.0 ports, a single USB 2.0 port with one powered USB port for AC/DC. There is an HDMI 1.4a output port with HDCP and 9-in-1 Push-Push Card reader. Networking is covered by the built in 10/100/1000 Mb Base-TX Ethernet LAN, Wireless LAN 802.11 B/G/N + Bluetooth v4.0+LE Combo Half Mini Card module.
Size wise this laptop 287 mm (W) x 207 mm (D) x 12.7 mm to 37.1 mm (H), it weighs in at 1.8 kilos that includes the 6 cell 62.16WH Smart Lithium-Ion battery pack that Pioneer say should be good for almost seven hours of power.
