No SHARED section in my Finder Window's sidebar in 10.5.8: "

I'm running a MacBook Pro with OS X 10.5.8. I'm trying to get Hitachi Simplenet to put a diskdrive on my network. The manual says the drive should appear in my "SHARED" section of the Finder Window's sidebar. However, my Finder window's sidebar does not have a "SHARED" section. I went to Finder Preferences and checked all the boxes under "SHARED" but still no "SHARED" section is appearing in the sidebar.



How do I get the "SHARED" section to appear in the sidebar?
