1971 Porsche 911 East Africa Rally Car owned by Jeff Zwart
Longtime Road & Track Contributing Photographer Jeff Zwart is quite the presence at Rennsport. In addition to racing two of his cars, a Porsche 906 and a Porsche 914-6, he has two other cars on display in the Timeline of 911 Racing garage–his GT3 Cup car and a 1971 911 ST, a car that competed in the East African Safari Rally on Sears steel-belted radial tires made by Michelin. A very cool car, to say the least. Jeff is also driving to and from the Mazda Raceway Laguna track in a pristine apparently unrestored white 356 with a 1953 license plate from the “U.S. Armed Forces in Germany.” I want that car.
