Once again, Asus and singer Jay Chou have teamed up to produce something different for the consumer to think about! This is the N45J Mystic Edition, which is actually a re-styled N series N45 laptop. This special version comes with a something different, such as a collectable box and the machine comes with some exclusive pre-loaded screensavers and content for the new owner to check out.
This design comes with a further stylish feature; it is an album cover and signature from the singer, songwriter and Green Hornet actor Jay Chou! enough of the style and design, Asus say that the N45j will resume in just two seconds, as with all of the Asus Zenbooks.
This stylish looking laptop comes with a nice sized 14.1 inch display with a 1366 x 768 of pixel resolution, and there is a built in 1.3 mega pixel web camera for video calling etc. As ever there are plenty of choices and options to be made with this machine, starting with the processor, there is a choice from the Intel Core range starting with the i3, i5 or i7 processors. While when it comes to the graphics is a little bit more straight forward with the highly capable Nvidia GeForce GT 555M GPU with either a 1 GB or 2 GB of VRAM available.
The buyer will choose the memory up 8 GB of RAM and there is the huge 750 GB hard disk drive (HDD) which should be ample as a storage solution. There is the option of either a DVD reader; writer or the buyer can go all out for the Blu-ray drive choice. It comes with two superfast USB 3.0 ports and there is the HDMI 1.4 video output, which is excellent for viewing on larger screens.
This is the first look at this machine and so there is no announcement on its price or availability at the moment.
