The world of new laptop computers is dominated by a flood of light, slim and fast starting ultrabooks forget about big and bulky laptops, you can even forget about your desktop PC now for the ultrabook is here now and it seems that consumers like the idea of a highly portable yet powerful computer.
The Lenovo ThinkPad T430u ultrabook is everything that an ultrabook should be and it compares favourably with the tough competition out there already, with a choice of the latest Intel Core processors, as well as Intel integrated or NVIDIA graphics solutions.
The consumer also has a choice of solid state drive (SSD) storage or they could decide to be old school and opt for up to 1 TB of hard disk drive (HHD) storage instead. Lenovo claimed that there is up to six hours of battery life, but that will depend on how the machine is used and of course, there is the quick resume and fast boot up, which is essential for today’s fast paced lifestyles.
What we have here is a smart looking ultrabook that weighs less than four pounds with the six cell battery installed and is tiny at just 0.8 inches thick thanks to the use of aluminium in the top cover and the minimalist design that Lenovo have come up with for the ThinkPad T430u ultrabook.
The other main features of the ThinkPad T430u are the 13.3 inch display with a 1366 x 768 of pixel resolution. It comes with a massive 16 GB of RAM and for connectivity, there are two superfast USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI port for connecting to a larger display and naturally for smooth networking there is built in Wi-Fi and Gigabit LAN available.
Expect to see the ThinkPad T430u ultrabook in the stores from around Q3 this year with a starting price of around $850.
