Lenovo have jumped the gun by releasing details of their latest netbook the S110, this will be replacing the tried and tested IdeaPad S100 netbook, which is no longer available from the Lenovo website. Therefore, it is logical that there should be a replacement on its way, as not to miss out on this still valuable sector of the market.
It is believed that this new netbook will be properly launched at the CES 2012 in Las Vegas although nothing is certain as of yet, because Lenovo have not issued an official press release to go with this new netbook.
Nevertheless, if that is to be the case, then the firm have got the jump on the competition by releasing some details early. Such as the S110 will be offering an almost full size keyboard and will offer the user the instant on feature that is so useful for people on the move, it is noted that there are a lot of optional extras here and that only means one thing, the starting price is only going one way and that is up!
That is enough about the all new Lenovo IdeaPad S110 speculations, so let us see what this machine has to offer! First of all, it is a 10.1 inch high definition display with an optional 2 mega pixel 720p resolution web camera.
There is a handy superfast USB 3.0 available and Wi-Fi for connecting to the internet, however for those who want it, there is also an optional 3G feature available too.
Other features include a useful VGA port, is only 0.6 inches thick, it will weigh in at 2.5 pounds, and there is also a choice of colours from red, blue, black, or white lids, apart from that the features and specs of this machine are fairliy limited until the launch next month.
A guide price of around $320 is being shown, but who knows with a new machine!
