Kawasaki ER-6f: easy to drive, ideal for beginners

Kawasaki ER-6f: easy to drive, ideal for beginners:

Kawasaki ER-6f

The world is changing, who knows how many times do you hear, and all too quickly, I might add. Until just a few seasons ago physically attending to static presentations of new models, now, comfortably seated in front of our laptop, we can enjoy video and teaser

prepared specifically for the occasion.

This is what has happened in these days, with my 2012 Kawasaki Er-6f. Kawasaki wanted to improve a product more than perfect for the target to which it refers. Affordable, intuitive and easy to drive, goes well with the needs of the beginner, the novice rider. Kawasaki, however, the old project was already reached its natural end.

So, starting from the new ER-6n, the Japanese engineers have designed new more protective plastic, ergonomic, and at the same time more aggressive character. Around the new frame, made of steel altaresistenza (which also keeps the peculiarity of this version of doppiotubo), have taken shape ineditesovrastrutture.

The design of the twin headlamp decided to recall elements and characteristics of the most powerful Z1000SX, while the new hull forms are connected well with the rest of the bike.

The new body as well as the windshield (adjustable to three positions, whether for a total of 60 mm) offer better protection against flussid’aria, minimizing the vortices that are created around the neck of the rider and passenger.

The large holes in the side of the fairing helps to extract the heat from the engine, before it impacts with the ends of the driver.

The new seat, however, while keeping the same height as the previous one, facilitates the support of both feet on the ground even to the less high, with the shorter distance between the covers of pins: a more compact overall look that enhances the livability 50 mm on each side.

Caratteristicheche make the ER-6f, according to the manufacturer, fun to drive as well as an excellent starting point for beginners, who will enjoy a miglioremaneggevolezza, greater responsiveness, and renewed ergonomiagenerale.
