Among the most interesting of the next edition of EICMA there will also be the new, rumored and long awaited Triumph Tiger 1200 Explorer, the road maxienduro Hincley with which the house is preparing to make war with His Majesty the BMW GS.

Special features of this attractive all-terrain, from the aesthetic point of view that takes all the best styles of the younger sister of 800 cc reinterpreted in a more muscular, imposing and dynamic, is the unprecedented motoretre cylinder of 1,200 cc, with distribution to four valves per cylinder, higher than the declared maximum power transmission and final drive 130CV housed in single-sided swingarm.

Highly developed in terms of electronic vehicle dynamics (comes standard with a ride-by-wire system, traction control, ABS can be switched off and CruiseControl), the Triumph Tiger 1200 is based on Explorer 19-inch alloy wheels and front 17 at the rear, fitted with tires more oriented to driving on asphalt than to the off-road.

At the moment there is provided a more devoted to dirt, as evidenced by the unavailability, even among the options, the spoked wheels. On the other hand there are numerous accessories designed for those who travel long distances and in all weather: soft and hard bags, saddles higher or lower in the gel, additional headlights and heated grips, which can work together thanks to the standard alternator to 950W.
