Kawasaki Er-6n: the naked redesigned frame and swingarm:

Kawasaki Er-6n

Kawasaki Er-6n

All new, or nearly so, on the Er-6n 2012. Of course, because if the new naked Kawasaki changes its characteristics, renewing in many particulars. But the simplicity, ease of driving, the feeling that comes after a very few curves in Kawasaki swear remained unchanged.

At first glance it seems to be so. The little naked, in fact, has not lost sembianzepacifiche and reassuring the previous model, although the frame and swingarm have been redesigned.

The first, made of steel altaresistenza (material that allows a light similar to that of aluminum), but is unusual with regard to measures and stiffness remains bound to classicodesign represented by the double tube.

The second, however, now I take stessodisegno the first, with the double tube for bracciodestro sports a banana shape to optimize the placement of the tailpipe.

The 649 cc Parallel Twin, DOHC 8-valve, liquid-cooled injection approved Euro III, changes are made: according to the manufacturer should offer more torque at low and medium revs, while maintaining the uniform nature at the top of its predecessor. The power and torque are claimed 72 hp at 8,500 rev / min and 64 Nm at 7,000 rpm / min.

Kawasaki’s engineers in order to adapt to the new chassis, they also had a hand in the suspension system: different setting for both a race suspension, both front and rear, respectively, increases of 5 and 2 mm.

Improves the seat, designed to maximize comfort while driving, while the handlebar slightly wider (10 mm on each side) now offers more room for over-sized drivers.

Finally, a mention of the superstructure lines, more current, young and in some traits similar to the shapes of most sporting handlebar install sisters.
